An introduction to foraging and Gaelic place names in and around Lochgoilhead and Carrick. Eileen MacDonald will be introducing us to the delights of Wild Foraging.

Foraging around Lochgoil offers a unique and enriching way to connect with nature. Nestled within the stunning landscape is a treasure trove of wild edibles. From the ancient forests and sea loch shoreline, this area is abundant with a variety of plants, berries, and fungi.

Embark on your foraging adventure, and discover the joys of identifying and harvesting wild foods. Common finds include wild garlic, mushrooms, and a variety of berries such as blueberries, brambles and rowan. Each season brings its own bounty, making foraging a year-round activity.
